The Amazing Adventures of....Markus!

By popular request, I'm finally getting back to this thing. And by popular request, I mean I was taking some grief from a certain avid reader in a Southern state, which will remain nameless.

OK, OK, so I've been slacking too. But I have an excuse (again). You see, we have a three year old in the house. No, we didn't secretly pro-create and forget to send out the announcement. No, instead, Jamie's sister Lindsay and her son Markus (featured in a previous blog post!), have been living with us while Lindsay settles into her new teaching job in Federal Way.

So we've been busy in the evening, a parenting triumverate, if you will, enjoying our time with Markus in the house. And a busy time it is! Some pics to catch you up.

Here's Markus with his friend Ty at the Puyallup Fair! You'll note the look of half terror, half enjoyment in Markus' eyes. We heard the word "mommy" muttered a few times as they spun around on the swing.



OK, Jamie won't like this one since she's not looking at the camera, but it's still good. This was from a recent pumpkin patch visit, getting ready for Halloween!



Clearly we need to get this boy in the weight room. Lift that pumpkin son!
